BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The business and affairs of the Friends are managed by its Board of Directors. The original Board consisted of 19 members, but the Board may choose to reduce or add members at any time by majority vote in an authorized meeting. Directors are elected by the members at each Annual Meeting, and each Director holds office until his or her successor has been elected and qualified. A quorum for a Board meeting requires a simple majority of the existing members.

* In addition, the President of the Board of Trustees of the Wimberley Village Library District is an ex-officio, voting member of the Friends Board. A representative of the Library staff also serves as a non-voting observer to Board meetings.
