Friends of the Wimberley Village Library Board Meeting

Regular Meeting – April 19, 2007

Wimberley Community Center, 14068 RR 12, Wimberley, TX 78676

Present: Lynda Blakistone, Linda Germain, Carol Harlow, Gaye Lynn Hodgson, Ria Hodgson, Marty Jeffers, Christian Lamberson, Nancy Marlette, Marianne Mitchell, Kaysa Pierce, Mike Schliessmann, Steve Schubert, Dennis Lee, Melody Valadez, Suzy Valadez, Nancy Wesson, and Patrice Wilson. Gary Knight was present as the ex-officio member from the board of trustees.

Gary Knight called the meeting to order at 5:45 PM. He announced that there was a vacancy in the position of Recording Secretary, because Melody Valadez was resigning. Ella Heatherly was unanimously voted onto the board in place of Melody.

A new slate of officers was proposed. They were:

Marty Jeffers – President

Nicole Royal – Vice President

Ruth Freeman – Treasurer

Dennis Lee – Recording Secretary

Marty Jeffers – Corresponding Secretary

There were no nominations from the floor. Upon motion, second, and vote the slate was unanimously approved.

There being no further business before the Board, upon motion, second, and vote, the meeting was adjourned at 6:00.
